Photography with Passion and Purpose

The art of photography brings meaning and purpose to my life. Inspired by the limitless potential and opportunity to translate the love of beauty and thirst for knowledge through the lens, I have been serving in the field of photography for over 30 years. Motivated by a passion for life at all levels of society and a commitment to creating fine art that contributes to the betterment of individuals and the community, I celebrate beauty & knowledge through the lens. The art of photography is a celebration of science and art with purpose, intention, and meaning.

Born in Hawaii, and raised on the west coast of Southern California, (I am definitely an ocean girl at heart),  Colorado has been home for 24 years and counting. With my husband and four teenagers, life is filled with never-ending adventures from photographing people, nature, and wildlife to running Transformative Leadership for Youth seminars that empower youth through a framework that fosters personal and social transformation to 'be the change' we wish to see in the world.

In addition to custom fine art photography and freelance assignments, Being the Change thru the Lens workshops that empower youth are offered locally and online as well as training for groups and organizations that serve youth. The shared model of leadership, known as Transformative Leadership, releases the society-building powers of youth and channels energy for positive change in personal, interpersonal, and social relationships. I hold the conviction that YOUTH are the CHANGE we want to see in the world. When the dynamic qualities of youth are combined with the transformative power of art, true transformation manifests at all levels of society.
